Rolling Hills hopes to bring healing from the effects of spiritual, social, and economic poverty in the South Portland Metro area by providing essential services offered through loving relationships in a community based setting.
Helping to provide the support they need, Divine Threads offers clothing, spiritual support, education and job skills training to disadvantaged women throughout our community.
Rolling Hills is a Bridge Church that welcomes people who are released from prison into the church family and helps them to readjust to life. Volunteer as a Prison Fellowship Mentor to disciple a prison inmate a year before their release and help them transition into our church family.
Our four-year partnership with Bridgeport Elementary continues to deepen. Have lunch once a week as a Lunch Buddy and make a difference in the life of a child or join our Backpack Team and help provide food for Bridgeport kids (and their siblings) who struggle to get enough food to eat over the weekend.
The Rolling Hills Community Life Center (CLC) is located on the lower level of Rolling Hills. The CLC was created to serve the community in a variety of ways. Each of the ministries below are housed in our CLC and work together to serve different needs in the community.
MONDAY NIGHTS | 5-7 PM
Our heart is to provide a bit of rest, friendship, and belonging as we share a hot meal with our neighbors. Rolling Hills Community Groups, families, or individuals are invited join a team to host a meal once a month
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS | NOVEMBER – MARCH The Shelter opens every Wednesday night from the beginning of November to the end of March. We provide a hot meal, a shower and laundry facilities to homeless members of our community (must be 18 or older). The Shelter will also be open every night during severe weather.
As a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in the Portland area, Northwest Children’s Outreach (NCO) provides clothing, infant care products, diapers, formula, and many of the other necessities parents need for their children.
Volunteers sort items and fill orders from caseworkers on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings in Rolling Hills’ Lower Level.
