The RHCC Community Life Center exists to bring healing from the effects of spiritual, social, and economic poverty in the South Portland Metro area by providing essential services offered through loving relationships in a community based setting.

Our heart is to provide a bit of rest, friendship, and belonging as we share a hot meal with our neighbors. RHCC Community Groups, families, or individuals are invited join a team to host a meal once a month

CLC Shelter

The CLC Shelter opens every Wednesday night from the beginning of November to the end of March. We provide a hot meal, a shower, laundry facilities to homeless members of our community. The CLC Shelter will also be open every night during severe weather. Join the transportation, food, or overnight host team.

Divine Threads

Helping to provide the support they need, Divine Threads offers clothing, spiritual support, education, and job skills training to disadvantaged women throughout our community.

Northwest Children’s Outreach

As a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to helping families in the Portland area, Northwest Children’s Outreach (NCO) provides clothing, infant care products, diapers, formula, and many of the other necessities parents need for their children.

Volunteers sort items and fill orders from caseworkers on Tuesday evenings and Wednesday mornings in RHCC’s Lower Level.

Help fill orders for families needing clothing, diapers, formula and infant care products. Every Tuesday night from 7-8:30 PM.

Tualatin School House Pantry

Tualatin School House Pantry (TSHP) is an independent organization located in RHCC’s Lower Level that is open three days each week to serve a huge need in our community.

Volunteers help the shoppers fill their carts and also stock the pantry shelves.

Bridgeport Elementary

Our four-year partnership with Bridgeport Elementary continues to deepen. Have lunch once a week as a Lunch Buddy and make a difference in the life of a child OR join our Backpack Team and help provide food for Bridgeport kids (and their siblings) who struggle to get enough food to eat over the weekend.
