Job Training & Life Transition

Whatever stage of life you’re in or transition you are going through, support and encouragement is available! Consider one of these ministries and programs to help you as you take the next step toward where God is calling you on your life path.

DIVINE THREADS

Divine Threads is a faith-based nonprofit where women are helping women. Their aim is to help women who are coming from many different paths: victims of sex trafficking, those released from prison, without family support, homeless due to tragedy and disaster, re-entering the workforce, returning to school, single parenting and those looking for a fresh start. Divine Threads is helping women by providing for their physical need of clothing and job preparedness support, emotional need for community, and spiritual need for connecting with Jesus.

FIRST IMAGE

First Image has been working to live out God’s heart to renew his image in the lives of those that have been impacted by sexual brokenness and abortion for over 30 years. We believe God has called us to serve the women in our city facing unplanned pregnancies, the children they carry, students who are in desperate need of transformation in their relationships and sexuality, and men and women burdened by the pain of past abortion. We encourage our whole faith family to serve and to participate in the annual bottle fundraising drive.

PRISON FELLOWSHIP

Prison Fellowship trains and inspires churches and communities—inside and outside of prison—to support the restoration of those affected by incarceration. They equip correctional leaders, volunteers, and incarcerated men and women to make prisons more rehabilitative places; they advocate for a more restorative criminal justice system; and they collaborate with churches and local service providers to support former prisoners, their families, and their communities. Rolling Hills is a Bridge Church that welcomes people who are released from prison into the church family. Volunteer as a Prison Fellowship Mentor to disciple a prison inmate a year before their release and help them transition into our church family.

Professional Counseling

We often find ourselves in need of professional counseling to deal with a past trauma, current stressor, struggling marriage or parenting issue. Rolling Hills does not offer on-going therapy here on our campus, but we can provide recommendations for Christian counselors in our area. If interested, call the church office and our team will do their best to connect you to an appropriate counselor.
