Our faith family is built on the willing hearts and hands of the many who volunteer and give their time, skills and interests to make who we are and all we do possible. We would love to help you get connected, build community, and be a part of the amazing work that God is doing by volunteering!

Ready to join the team, but not sure where to start or what’s available? Check out the Sneak Peek Volunteer Tour! During this tour, we’ll introduce you to the various ministry areas and the volunteer opportunities available here at Rolling Hills both on Sunday mornings as well as throughout the week.

Volunteer at a christmas gathering

In order to make our Christmas Gatherings as welcoming and safe as possible this holiday season, we need your help!

Our Christmas Eve Gatherings bring many people to Rolling Hills to enjoy a special time of worship. We will have extra volunteer needs before and after each of our three Candlelight Gatherings. Serving on Christmas Eve is a great opportunity for our faith family to show those who attend the love and hope of Jesus. Invite your family to join you and pick a time that best fits your schedule.

Our friends at Evan's Creek Retreat need our help! Their retreat center was destroyed by the wildfires last summer, and the biggest way we can support is through their "work weekends" to rebuild Evan's Creek. Craig Eaton and Steve Bohrer are are taking groups down there a couple Saturdays a month to work on various construction projects.

Find a Way to Serve

Our desire is that every child, from birth through 5th grade, is personally known. The classroom teaching is directly from the Word of God and spoken in kid-friendly language. Our goal is that all kids become more excited about following Jesus when they leave church on Sunday morning!

Our passion is to see every student build a meaningful relationship with Jesus, grow to become more like Him, and live that out in tangible ways. Throughout the week, we offer youth specific Gatherings and unique opportunities for students to get connected and experience community. Our passionate volunteers and leaders are excited to disciple students, meeting them wherever they are on their spiritual journey.

At Rolling Hills we’re called to reach people with the love of Christ in our neighborhoods, communities, and across the globe. There are so many areas to serve with Rolling Hills in our Community Global Outreach team.

Volunteers in Guest Services specialize in hospitality and helping people feel like they belong at Rolling Hills. Opportunities include greeters, kids’ check-in, coffee hosts and seating hosts.

The Next Steps Team has the privilege of guiding and encouraging guests to take steps that are designed to help them grow in their walk with Jesus. This team has numerous volunteer positions that include supporting our Next Steps events, such as the Newcomers’ Dinner, Sneak Peek Tour, baptisms and more!

If you are interested in graphic design, photography, social media, writing/editing copy, marketing, videography or animation, we would love to hear from you! We have a team who works on the weekend as well as throughout the week to produce all of the content you see during each Gathering, throughout the church building and online.

RH Women fosters safe environments where every woman is welcomed with open arms, encouraged to ask questions, individually known, and personally supported. We are all at different places in our own journeys and there is a place for everyone in the open community of RH Women!

RH Men seeks to provide environments for men seeking to live the spiritual adventure of being transformed by Jesus. We weren’t created to do that alone. Join the team by filling out our volunteer interest form

People gathering in small groups is an example shown from the beginning of the early church. We continue to see this example throughout scripture where followers gathered together to pray, eat and spend time together. This is what we use as a model for our Community Groups. If you are interested in leading one of these groups, fill out the application!

Worship Arts

Every musician, vocalist and artist present on stage each Sunday are leading worship. That is our first and most sacred role as artists in a community of faith. You are a worshiper first. It is through the lens of this vital, holy responsibility that the Rolling Hills Worship Arts Ministry carefully considers whom God has prepared and called to serve as a volunteer within Worship Arts

Production volunteers help deliver an excellent, distraction-free service environment. If you’re creative, intuitive, hard-working, and have a passion for visual excellence and details, working behind the scenes with Production might be your next step.

Volunteers in special events specialize in hospitality and helping to ensure everyone who walks through our doors feels welcomed. Events include concerts, weddings, memorials, and graduations.

Facilities volunteers help create inviting environments for ministries to operate without distractions. Volunteer opportunities include: cleaning, landscaping, building maintenance and repair. Skilled and unskilled options are available. Everyone is welcome! Your first step toward volunteering on this team is to fill out our Volunteer Interest Form and we will call you to arrange scheduling.

Behind-the-scenes administrative tasks are a key element of every ministry at Rolling Hills. Volunteer opportunities include project organization, materials assembly, filing, photocopying, registration help, fill-in reception coverage, occasional data entry, and more. Special one-off projects, as well as regular weekly or monthly assistance opportunities.
