Be a blessing to a family in need this holiday season! Christmas Blessing has been ministering to families for over 20 years. During the season in which we celebrate the greatest gift ever given, join us in giving to those who need help in our faith family and local community.
how to give
This year we are requesting cash donations be made directly to RHCC Christmas Blessing. This ministry is funded solely through the donations of participants. Receiving your tax deductible contribution by November 30 allows us to determine how many families can be blessed this Christmas season.
Note: Please add “Christmas Blessing” to the memo line of any donations made by check.
WHY GIFT CARDS?
 The same joy you feel when giving gifts to your family, you are able provide for someone else!
Gift cards will be purchased and distributed to families identified by Rolling Hills and Bridgeport Elementary staff. The receiving families can use the gift cards to purchase specific items, such as food, clothing, toiletries and toys. The gift cards will be presented in a personalized Christmas card from Rolling Hills. The giving of gift cards may feel more impersonal but it blesses families by enabling them to purchase needed items for their family.

CONNECT WITH FAMILIES
In past years, nominated families were matched with a donor family who shopped, wrapped and delivered items directly to the family in need.
While we are requesting cash donations be made directly to RHCC Christmas Blessing, if you would like to be matched with a family to personally purchase items on their behalf, we can do our best to connect you. Email christmasblessing@rollinghills.org.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I GIVE ?
1) Give securely online by visiting rollinghills.org/give and selecting Christmas Blessing as the giving type. Or use the link above. Donations need to be received by November 30 to allow time to purchase and distribute gift cards to the families by mid-December.
2) Mail a check directly to the church with “Christmas Blessing” noted on the memo line. The mailing address is:

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?
Our hope is to provide $50 per person in a family, so if you’d like to bless a family of three the suggested giving amount would be $150. Whatever you give will be a blessing!
I'M UNABLE TO MAKE A DONATION, HOW CAN I SERVE?
We plan to deliver a personal Christmas card to each family along with their gift cards. If you can purchase or make cards to be delivered with gift cards please fill out the form below and you will be contacted with more information on where to drop off your cards.
HOW ARE FAMILIES IDENTIFIED TO RECEIVE GIFT CARDS?
1) Rolling Hills staff will nominate families who attend our church.
2) For families in the community, we are partnering with Bridgeport Elementary School as we have in previous years. During the initial outbreak of COVID, Bridgeport created a Basic Needs team to stay in close connection with the school families and understand their specific needs. The team has remained in place and will be nominating families to Rolling Hills for Christmas Blessing.
WHAT IF I AM IN NEED?
Contact any Rolling Hills pastor or staff member you are connected with through the church or call the church office at 503-638-5900. Christmas Blessing ministry resources will be used to help members of the Rolling Hills faith family and community through Bridgeport Elementary School. It is our desire to help as many families as we can within these two focus areas.
