Find a Way to Serve

RH KIDS

RH Kids volunteers teach and care for children from birth through 5th grade, leading age-appropriate, Bible-based lessons in a classroom setting. You might rock babies in the nursery, lead a small group discussion, or run games and activities that help kids connect what they’re learning to their everyday lives. Every volunteer plays a part in helping kids leave church excited about following Jesus.

RH STUDENTS

RH Students volunteers mentor middle and high schoolers, leading small group discussions, helping run weekly youth gatherings, and building one-on-one relationships with students. You’ll show up consistently in students’ lives, meeting them where they are and walking alongside them as they grow in their faith. This role is for adults who want to invest in the next generation through mentorship and presence.

lead a group

Groups volunteers lead a small gathering of people who meet regularly to pray, eat, study Scripture, and do life together. As a leader, you’ll facilitate discussion, care for the people in your group, and help create a space where real relationships can form.

CONNECTIONS

Connections Team volunteers are often the first friendly face a guest sees at Rolling Hills — serving as greeters, hosting the coffee bar, answering questions, and helping guests find a seat. Team members learn to recognize newcomers and extend a warm, personal welcome that puts them at ease. This role is a great fit for anyone with a gift for hospitality or who enjoys connecting with new people.

PRODUCTION

Production volunteers run the technical side of each Gathering: operating cameras, mixing sound, running lighting, and cueing visual slides and graphics. You’ll work behind the scenes to make sure the Gathering runs smoothly and without distraction for the congregation. This role is a great fit if you’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoy working as part of a coordinated team.

Worship Arts

Members of the Worship Arts Team serve our church with their musical gifts through playing an instrument or singing to help lead the congregation in worship. Serving involves midweek rehearsals with the team and serving on stage during Sunday gatherings, leading from a posture of humility and excellence. Placement on the team involves an interview and musical audition.

RH WOMEN

RH Women volunteers help create and lead spaces (like Bible studies, events, or small groups) where women feel welcomed, known, and supported. You might lead a discussion group, coordinate an event, pray for our events,  or work behind the scenes to make sure every gathering runs smoothly. Or you might welcome people in and start building relationships with other women in the church. This role is about fostering a community where every woman, no matter where she’s at, feels she belongs.

RH MEN

RH Men volunteers help lead and organize gatherings, studies, and events designed to help men grow in their faith together. You might lead a small group, help plan a men’s event, or mentor other guys through life’s challenges. This role is for men who want to walk alongside others rather than navigate their spiritual growth alone.

COMMUNITY & GLOBAL OUTREACH

Outreach volunteers serve people in need both locally and internationally, through hands-on projects like food distribution, service days, or supporting global partner missions. You’ll have the chance to plug into ongoing local initiatives or short-term outreach efforts depending on your interests and availability. These roles are about actively living out the love of Christ beyond the walls of the church.

COMMUNICATIONS

Communications volunteers create the content people see every week: designing graphics, shooting photos and video, writing social media posts, or editing copy for church communications. You might work a weekend shift capturing a Sunday Gathering or contribute throughout the week on ongoing projects. This role is a fit for anyone with skills in design, writing, photography or videography.

WEDDING & MEMORIAL FACILITATOR

Wedding & Memorial Facilitators help behind the scenes of weddings and memorial services, working alongside our staff to make sure everything runs smoothly during these significant life moments. You’ll assist with setup, logistics, and communication on the day of the event, offering a steady, caring presence during both joyful and difficult occasions. This role is for people who want to show up for our faith family exactly when it matters most.

EVENTS

Events volunteers help host and run special occasions like concerts, weddings, memorials, and graduations, making sure guests feel welcomed and cared for. Tasks might include setup and teardown, greeting attendees, or coordinating logistics during the event itself. This role is a good fit for anyone who enjoys hospitality and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.

FACILITIES

Facilities volunteers keep the building and grounds in shape by cleaning, doing landscaping work, or handling basic building maintenance and repairs. Both skilled (like plumbing or electrical) and unskilled tasks are available, so there’s a role for almost any ability level.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Administrative volunteers provide behind-the-scenes support across every ministry at Rolling Hills, helping with tasks like organizing projects, assembling materials, filing, photocopying, registration assistance, fill-in reception coverage, and occasional data entry. This role is a great fit for detail-oriented people who enjoy keeping things organized and running smoothly.

Safety & Security

Safety & Security volunteers help monitor the campus during Gatherings and events, watching entrances, patrolling the parking lot, or assisting with medical needs as they arise. Those with a background in law enforcement, military, or medical fields are especially encouraged to serve.
